September 2006

Resource Development Group is pleased to announce our sponsorship of two outstanding industry trade organizations.  The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is dedicated to helping economic developers do their job more effectively and raising the profile of the profession.  RDG is honored to be a Platinum sponsor of IEDC’s Annual Conference:

RDG is also proud to be a 2006 Platinum Sponsor of the Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA).  Created in 2005 through the merger of the Ohio Economic Development Association and The Ohio Economic Development Council, OEDA works to advance Ohio’s economy by selling, advocating, training and networking.  The OEDA Annual Conference is October 11 to 13.

RDG looks forward to a long, productive and mutually beneficial
relationship with both of these great organizations.

At Resource Development Group, we are proud of what our client organizations are able to accomplish with the economic development dollars we help them leverage.  Nothing is more gratifying, however, than to see your hometown economy continue to grow and prosper.  According to Policom, Columbus, Ohio now has the seventh strongest economy in the United States.  Columbus has experience steady, consistent growth for many years and looks forward to continued growth thanks in part to a strong, pro-active Chamber driven economic development program.  To find out more about the criteria used to determine these rankings, go to www.policom.com.

Congratulation to Chamber President & CEO Ty Marsh, Chamber Vice President for Economic Development Matt McCollister and former Compete Columbus President & CEO David Powell for leading Columbus’ innovative and progressive economic development efforts.

Congratulations also go to all markets that made the Policom top 10, including RDG clients Charlotte (#1) and Atlanta (#6)
